1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Slick Buy ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account password
• You must not share your account credentials with third parties
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform

3. Auction Rules

Bidding

• All bids are legally binding contracts to purchase
• Bids cannot be retracted once placed unless in exceptional circumstances
• By placing a bid, you agree to pay the final amount if you win
• Bidders must complete payment within 48 hours of auction close

Selling

• Sellers must accurately describe all items listed for auction
• Sellers must disclose any defects or issues with items
• Sellers must honor the sale to the winning bidder unless there are exceptional circumstances
• Sellers are responsible for shipping items promptly after payment

4. Payment Terms

All transactions must be completed through our approved payment methods. We currently accept:

• PayPal
• Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
• Debit Cards

Buyers must complete payment within 48 hours of winning an auction. Failure to pay may result in account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Manipulate auctions or engage in shill bidding
• List counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other users
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Platform
• Circumvent any security features or attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

6. Fees and Commissions

Slick Buy charges sellers a commission on successful sales. The current fee structure is available on our website and may be updated from time to time. Buyers do not pay additional fees to use the Platform, though payment processing fees may apply.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Slick Buy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between users, Slick Buy may act as a mediator but is not obligated to resolve the dispute. Users are encouraged to resolve disputes amicably. For unresolved disputes, arbitration may be required as outlined in the Arbitration Agreement section.

9. Limitation of Liability

Slick Buy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past twelve months.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
